Story Time
Various Libraries and Dates

There is truly nothing on this earth more fun than story time! I have delivered story times at libraries large and small, urban and rural, for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. I tailor my story times to each developmental stage, and always incorporate Every Child Ready to Read skills. At the Forest Home library in Milwaukee, I delivered at least two story times each week, one in English and one bilingual English/Spanish. Even when I have worked as an adult services librarian, I always offer to fill in when the children's librarian is absent. With my background in theatre, I love to read aloud, sing, lead fingerplays and puppet play, and even play guitar. Ask me to tell you The Enormous Carrot!

In the video below, you can see a few samples of my story time crafts for preschoolers.
